PETALING JAYA: Fit-again Khor Kheng Hwai (pic) is hoping to be third time lucky in his bid to land a dream CIMB Classic start.

After coming close in 2014 and last year, the 33-year-old is keen to make amends when he tees off in the CIMB National Championship at the TPC Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.

The RM200,000 qualifiers – previously known as the SapuraKencana National Classic – will reward the champion with an invitation to play in the US$7mil (RM30mil) US PGA Tour event, also to be held at the TPC Kuala Lumpur from Oct 12-15.

The highest-ranked Malaysian in the world as of Oct 2 will also get to compete in the 78-man elite field.
